From Provider to Certifying Trainer: Isabelle's TRE™ journey

In 2025 Isabelle Claus Teixeira became a Global TRE™ Certifying Trainer — accredited by TRE For All under Dr. David Berceli's methodology to certify new providers. For Singapore, that means the full three-module certification is now run locally, on a regular basis, by someone who spent a decade living here. This is how she got there.

Thirty years of watching stress at work

Before TRE™, Isabelle was a Senior HR Business Partner and Talent Management leader in Fortune 100 companies, working across nine countries and with more than 40 nationalities. She saw what chronic pressure does to leaders and teams from the inside — and eventually experienced it herself, in work environments she describes plainly as toxic.

The recovery came through the body: somatic practice, mindfulness and, from 2017, TRE™. "I don't do this work from a distance," she says. "I've walked through it myself."

2017 – 2019: from practitioner to provider

A first TRE™ session in 2017 became a daily practice. By 2019 Isabelle had completed provider certification and began teaching individuals and groups in Singapore, Japan and online, alongside an executive coaching practice she had run since 2012 as an ICF PCC-level coach.

Learning from the source

The path to Certifying Trainer is long by design: years of personal practice, extensive supervised teaching, and mentorship from senior trainers. Isabelle trained with Dr. David Berceli himself and with Michelle Beck, Ching Meoh Cheong and Donna Philips — some of the most experienced Certifying Trainers in the global TRE™ community. Along the way she added Strozzi somatic bodywork, certification as a Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki healer, and in 2024 mindfulness teacher training with Nick Cole of the UK College of Mindful Meditation.

2025: Certifying Trainer, and a hub for Singapore

Accreditation as a Global TRE™ Certifying Trainer means Isabelle can now run all three certification modules and sign off new providers. The first full Singapore cohort began in August 2026 and completes in February 2027, with Module 1 also delivered in Bucharest in October 2026 — the first in Europe in English.

The same year she launched TRE™ in Singapore, this site, as a community hub: a directory of certified providers, a shared events calendar, practice circles for supervision and peer support, and plain-language resources for the public.

• Local certification. No more flying abroad for each module; the pathway runs in Singapore with online supervision between modules.
• Continuity. One trainer who knows the local context — the corporate culture, the pace, the multilingual client base — from Module 1 to certification and beyond.
• Community. A place to be listed, referred, supervised and kept learning, with visiting trainers such as Simba Stenqvist adding to the calendar.
